The book contains a large variety of different crossword-style puzzle, so it’s a little different to a standard book of crosswords featuring just one puzzle type.

This is an example of a fun variant called the jigsaw crossword: here the grid is given to you, but you must reassemble it just like a jigsaw, with the help of the clues provided.

Missing Vowels and Half-Alphabet Crosswords

Two of the many other novel crossword variants featured are vowelless and half-alphabet crosswords.

With the former, all vowels have been removed from each clue: you must work out what they are and put them back in. With the half-alphabet crossword, all answers use the letters A-M only.
