HypaCover Sterile Dressings, medium are premium quality, made to meet HSE first aid recommendations and NHS standard.
This dressing is a strong, stretchable bandage with an absorbent, non-stick pad. The stretch bandage holds the dressing securely in place, and the pad cushions the wound and absorbs any exudates. Its stretchy design allows it to conform to the body and allows for movement if used on joints. The unmedicated pad and sterile wound dressings provide initial protection from infection whilst en route to hospital.
This medium sized sterile dressing is an essential item for any well-stocked First Aid Kit, as each dressing comes individually packaged in sterile flow wrap outer. It is included in the list of required components for BS 8599-1 and BS 8599-2 kits.
